A very cute and easy pattern, this squirrel is perfect for using fringe or fuzzy yarn. The overalls are easy to knit, too. The pattern is experienced-beginner level. All pieces are knit flat, then seamed and assembled. The finished toy is about 8" tall.

Squirrel: 50 g of worsted weight yarn, 10 g of fuzzy or eyelash yarn, pair of 8-10 mm safety eyes or buttons, stuffing, 4 mm straight knitting needles, tapestry needle
Overalls: 25 g or worsted weight yarn, pair of buttons, 4 mm straight knitting needles, tapestry needle
