Knit your own classic polar bear toy, with a handsome moss-stitch cardigan. This toy is the prefect size to top off a Christmas stocking, and the cardigan looks great in holiday colours, neutrals, or variegated yarns. The finished toy is about 8-9" tall, and all pieces are knit flat, then seamed and assembled. The toy is experienced-beginner level, and is quick and fun to knit!
 
Materials Required
Polar Bear: 50 g of worsted weight yarn in cream, pair of 4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles, stuffing, tapestry needle, pair of 8-10 mm safety eyes or buttons, yarn to embroider the face
Cardigan: 25 g of worsted weight yarn, pair of 4.5 mm (US size 7) knitting needles, tapestry needles, 4 small buttons (plus needles and thread to attach).
